Planet Parade

Our young learners of Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri – class 2 embarked on a cosmic journey as they turned into the Sun and Planets!

The activity was designed to make the concept of the Solar System come alive. The Sun proudly stood at the center while the planets revolved around it, just like in space. Through this fun-filled role-play, children not only discovered the sequence of planets—Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—but also experienced the concept of revolution in a playful and interactive way.

What made the activity even more special was the kinesthetic learning involved. By moving, acting, and playing their roles, the students could easily remember the order of planets, their relative positions, and the uniqueness of the Solar System. Learning was no longer confined to books—it became a galactic adventure, filled with excitement, curiosity, and teamwork.

Such experiential learning opportunities nurture imagination, strengthen memory, and make abstract scientific concepts simple, engaging, and unforgettable. Truly, our Planet Parade turned the classroom into a little universe of wonder, inspiring our learners to reach for the stars and soar to greater heights!
